This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of the different sales & marketing activities to maintain and develop key Accounts. Functions as the leader of the property’s segmented sales effort, especially corporate and responsible for implementing the segment sales strategy and achieving segment revenue goals, property revenue goals and guest and employee satisfaction. Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Achieves personal booking goals and makes recommendations on booking goals of direct reports.
You will be working closely with the regional marketing team to be aligned to the vision and overall business plan, achieving agreed objectives and KPIs.
Main duties:
- Planning and setting the sales strategy as well as analyzing the performance data of the assigned properties and their future performance forecast.
- Planning and participation in national and international sales actions with key accounts.
- Creating and developing hotel packages and experiences in coordination with the GM and Global Director of S & M
- Together with the Revenue team, analyses and implement the necessary pricing and distribution actions based on the sales evolution.
- Planning and coordinating together with the marketing team all the activities based on the marketing annual plan.
- Supervising the hotels' online reputation.
- Establish a good rapport with the media
- Ensure that hotel website, photos and content are up to date
- Follow up on marketing campaigns in line with strategy.
- Creation of marketing initiatives to support all Hotel areas: Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meeting & Events and Human Resources.
- Assure implementation of the annual Social Media Strategy including national holidays and hotel events to increase the awareness in all areas of the hotel. Focus on story telling; creating multi-format on brand content and writing copy with substance and ensuring imagery is in line with brand requirements.
- To help grow and expand the social media following, and increase engagement rates
- Handling various administrative tasks which are instrumental in the development and execution of the plan and strategy of Sales and Marketing
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Tourism, Marketing or Business Administration.
- +4 years in sales management.
- Marketing knowledge
- Core business in corporate market segment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Desirable Spanish language
