Job description

To assist the healthcare practitioner to carry out routine health related activities within the acute setting.

The role of Emergency Department Assistant is to support the clinical care of patients within the Emergency Department and to prepare clinical areas to receive patients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Cleaning equipment
Re stocking equipment
Serving refreshments
Assisting with patients basic care needs
Communicating with patients and their friends/families
