Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
About the Role:
This role will be directly reporting to the Head of Finance, who will have full understanding of Trust Accounting, Financial Modelling and Operational Finance. You will work alongside with Financial Analyst, Reporting Manger and other accountants.
This role will suit someone who is highly commercial and has proven records of driving budget and forecast accurately, as well as track in line with targets. In addition this position will ensure our cash flow projections and liquidity positions are accurate, analysed appropriately and produced in a timely manner. It is critical for the successful candidate to thrive in hitting deadlines, continuously improve processes and understand how to leverage systems to automate and scale reporting processes. The role will be responsible for managing a small team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of annual budget, monthly variances analysis, quarterly rolling forecast. Ensure high accuracy in tight deadlines, continuously improve the process and the reporting pack in conjunction with the HoF.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and provide Variance Reports according to approved Budget on rolling basis. Analyse key costs and revenue elements with commercial sense to come up with management recommendations.
- Own cash flow modelling and analysis to articulate movements against cash and liquidity positions.
- Take ownership of our regulatory reporting to CAA and any other bodies to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Work closely with business operations to provide detailed analysis on Chargebacks, Refunds, Adjustments in our booking system. Provide recommended approach for better capture of the changes and trends etc.
- Lead the communication for Trust Account and provide high level review of Trust claims and PTT claims daily and weekly.
- Manage the Accounts Payable for ‘Cost of Sales’ suppliers ie: Airlines, HotelBanks and Direct contracting hotels etc.
- Assisting HoF to prepare Cash Flow Hedge Accounting journaling, documentation and reporting disclosure.
- Assist with annual audit and draft financial report preparation, notes and disclosure.
- Ensure key operational processes and internal controls are performed, documented and operating effectively on a timely basis.
- Provide Ad-hoc analysis upon request from CFO and senior stakeholders from Group. Maintain strong working relationship.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years post qualification experience.
- High transactional volume experience in a travelling or gaming industry will be desirable.
- Proven experience of delivering robust budgeting and forecasting processes utilising systems to drive automation and enable scale.
- Knows what good looks like from a budgeting, forecasting and reporting standpoint.
- Proven experience of delivering quality presentations in a clear and compelling manner
- Extremely diligent, delivers on time and gets things right first time
- Organised, task focused and will go the extra mile to get things done
- Strong systems and IT skills including Financial Modelling.
- Fluent in English and Chinese language will be a plus
