Fostering Panel Member required - Warrington, Cheshire
Credo Care is a leading Independent Fostering Agency, specialising in the care of children with additional needs. We are looking for an additional panel member to cover our fostering panels.
Hours
As required but anticipated 4-6 panels per year, held on Saturday mornings.
Role
To attend fostering panels and, in conjunction with other members, make a recommendation regarding a person’s suitability to become a foster carer, based on information provided.
Requirements for the role:
- A good level of education and communication skills
- Ability to read lengthy assessments and make suitable recommendations based on the information given
- Be reliable, able to travel to attend panel meetings and undertake training when required
- Ability to prioritise and organise work
- Any knowledge or experience of fostering or adoption would be ideal
- IT literate
Pay
We offer a payment of £200 per panel attendance.
