Our client is the UK’s leading specialist producer of high-quality colour covers and jackets for all book formats. They produce covers, jackets and plate sections for supply to customers’ own binders or as part of books produced within the company.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES required ASAP to work within this high quality and high output organisation
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring work to be processed is in the correct place at the time required.
- Ensuring machines have the consumables required to process the jobs.
- Return unused/left over consumables back to storage area when no longer required.
- To organise supplies and put in designated areas.
- Keep the working area clean and tidy, empty waste bins as required.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of the print industries and knowledge of paper, laminate and foil types would be advantageous.
- Previous manufacturing experience desired.
- Forklift license (advantage)
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills together with the ability to communicate at all levels within the factory and to work well within a team environment.
Hours of work:
ROTATING:
WEEK 1: Sunday to Tuesday 6pm - 6am
WEEK 2: Wednesday to Friday 6pm - 6am
And then you go on WEEK 1, etc. OVERTIME is always available.
RATE STARTING £13.00 PER HOUR - WEEKLY PAY
The position is temporary to permanent.
