Job description

Background:

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to lift heavy objects. This position requires a valid forklift license and the successful candidate must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload trucks with the forklift.
• Maintain the forklift in good working condition.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Be able to lift heavy objects with the forklift.
• Keep track of inventory and stock levels.
• Communicate with other workers on the warehouse floor.

Essential Criteria:

• All candidates must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence
• All candidates must be able to read English

Hours of Work:

• Sunday to Thursday 1800hrs to finish (0200hrs)
