The Forklift Truck Driver will be responsible for the transportation of all goods and materials within our Sub-Assembly area.

Job Type:
1. Full-time, with a permanent position becoming available after the probationary period ends.
2. Evening Shift, Monday - Thursday.
3.This position requires an immediate start.
4. Having the ability to carry out the above in accordance with our Quality and Health & Safety standards.
Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Load and unload deliveries and safely relocate the goods to their designated storage areas.
2. Check and secure all loads before they are transported to their designated area.
3. Check all delivery notes to ensure the correct parts have been received.
4. Load and unload the sub assembly lines with production parts.
5. Transport completed products to the designated despatch zone.
6. Complete stock takes to ensure we have received all parts required for the scheduled build plan.
7. General house-keeping duties in the sub assembly area.
8. Ensure that all forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions.
9. Manoeuvre a Forklift Truck safely in a busy industrial environment.
10. Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto racks, shelves, or pallets.
11. Complete daily pre-use maintenance checks using the formal document supplied.
