Job Role: FLT Driver

You will play an important role in making sure some of the best-known drink’s brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers. About the Role
You will be part of a supportive team, led by Site Supply Manager working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
As FLT Driver your main tasks and duties will be:
- Receive, put away, pick and despatch pallets of raw materials or finished goods from our warehouses.
- Process raw materials or finished goods using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Use Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Very Narrow Aisle trucks, Counterbalance, Reach trucks, ride-on or Pedestrian Operated trucks.
- Operating machinery/equipment.
- Undertake regular stock checks.
- Oversee returns.
- Work to minimise waste and promote recycling.
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.

Salary and Benefits
You will be paid annual salary of £24,999.67 (on 3-shift pattern) and £26,249.65 (on continental shift pattern). We have also confirmed the 2024 pay award which will be 5% effective from the 1 November 2023.
We currently have a temporary top up in pace until 30 September 2023 which will take your salary to £27,976.00 (on 3 shift pattern) and £29,374.80 (on continental shift pattern). Your shift pattern will be continental shift pattern working 12-hour shifts (6.00-18.00; 18:00-6.00) with every other weekend off on 3 shift rotation pattern working 8-hour shifts (6.00 - 14.00; 14.00 - 22.00; 22.00 - 6.00).
In addition, you will have 2 x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme, a sports and social fund and free on-site car parking.

About You
You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Refresco, Nelson so it’s important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals.
For the role of FLT Driver, you will have previous experience of working within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, you will be accurate in your daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail and have previous experience in Forklift Truck operation. You will also need the following qualifications for this role: Counterbalance licence and Reach truck licence.
