Job Brief – Yard Operative
Our Client based in Lount, near Ashby De La Zouch, are looking for a Yardman/Fork Lift Driver to maintain the yard of a busy manufacturing company and also load / unload trailers, and move stock within the yard.
Hours of Work – Yard Operative
Monday to Thursday : 08:00 to 16:30
Friday : 06:00 to 13:00
Job Role – Yard Operative
- Receipt of goods
- Issue of goods to customers and subcontractors
- Movement of stock
- Monitoring of stock levels
- Recording stock movement
- Movement of Machinery and equipment.
- Upkeep of yard
Candidate Requirements – Yard Operative
- FLT experience and license - essential
- Have a positive attitude
- Be physically fit
- Display good organisation skills
- Be a good team player

Pay rates – Yard Operative
£12.00-£13.00 Basic p/h STD 0-39 hours (depending on experience)
Overtime 1.5x rate 39-44 hours
Overtime 2.0x rate 44 hours +
