Freshview Foods Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced multi skilled warehouse operative to join us in our exciting growing company!

Job Description

• To ensure all goods inward deliveries are checked, labelled, booked onto operating system and documentation signed for correct
• To ensure all goods are checked for quality and any issues communicated to the purchasing department.
• Make sure goods are correctly stored adhering the BRC standards implemented by management.
• To assist in ensuring any rejected goods are held in the quarantine area for supplier collection or returned at point of delivery with all necessary paperwork completed.
• To ensure a clean and tidy warehouse is continually maintained working to a “Clean as you Go” environment.
• To assist the Nights Warehouse team by setting up the picking and dry goods areas by replenishing, rotating and prepping ready for the night shift picking team.

Applicants should be prepared to work in a busy and fast paced environment, with some manual handling they should have a positive and friendly attitude with a keen eye for detail and have the ability to work as part as a team.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a current FLT Licence
• Ideally have a background in the fresh produce industry or similar
• Have excellent attention to detail & strong communication skills
• Must be computer literate

Working hours:

40 hours per week

(flexible between the hours of 5am-4.30pm)

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.80 per hour
