Ashton Recruitment are seeking a Warehouse Operative with Forklift Driving duties for our client in Belfast. Our client is a world class supplier of metals and plastics and due to continued growth they are seeking to expand their team!
Position: Stores Operative/ Forklift Driver
Location: Titanic Quarter, Belfast
Duration: Permanent
Starting Salary: £22,000 per annum + performance related bonus
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm
- Friday 8.30am to 4pm
- No weekends!
Duties include:
- Operating machinery (plate saw and bar saw)
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders
- Ensuring stock inventory is correct at all times
- Unloading and loading company lorries
- Assisting the Foreman in all areas
- Working as part of a team
- Helping the warehouse team to achieve KPI's
- Forklift driving duties
- Maintain and clean and safe working environment
Essential Criteria:
- Counterbalance Forklift Experience
- Reliable and committed
- A team player with great communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience operating machinery and saws
- Good knowledge of Stock Management
- Current Valid Counterbalance License
