Ashton Recruitment are seeking 1x Warehouse Operative for our client based in Belfast City Centre. Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary for 12 weeks, permanent afterwards
Rate of Pay: £11.16 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Maintain high standards and level of accuracy and will assist with picking, packing, goods in and stock checks.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Strictly follow goods in and dispatch procedures
- Produce delivery notes and address labels
- Careful handling of stock at all times to ensure no damage caused
- Loading and unloading of containers and delivery vehicles
- Cycle counting and stock checks
- Packing orders with easily identifiable goods, in packaging fit for purpose
- Record and notify any discrepancies in fulfilling orders
- Replenish stock daily
- Environmental awareness - reduce, reuse and recycle
- Other duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- Warehouse experience
- Manual Handling
- Health and safety awareness/ training
- Experience with handheld scanners
Desirable Criteria:
- Counterbalance Forklift licence

- Belfast City Centre, County Antrim: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
