We have an exciting new job opportunity for a Forklift Driver.
Details of the role
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking a range of routine day-to-day tasks across two or three departments as advised, such as feeding Wash lines; loading and unloading lorries, running the seconds line.
- Operating a Forklift Truck to ensure that efficient and effective movement of produce to meet operational needs;
- Ensuring that products are moved/ stored and consumed correctly; ensures that all boxes are de-labelled and safe to be re-used again;
- Utilizing a tablet in order to ensure the correct allocation of the product;
- Always following companies established Health and Safety procedures;
- Responsible for escalating problems with the plant, machinery to an engineering team, or product quality to the area manager, in a timely and proactive manner;
- Operating a clean as you go regime within the workplace, ensures that all required cleaning records are up to date.
Hours
Full time (40 hrs per week)
Opportunity to work overtime
You will work a variable shift pattern across every day of the week. Normal daily hours 06.00-14.30.
We will give you your rotas 3-4 weeks in advance.
About the candidate
Previous Forklift driving experience is essential. It is desirable but not essential that you have a forklift licence, we can provide training and a license for the successful candidate.
You should:

- Be able to be able to work shifts across every day of the week
