The HOPE Program is a specialized forensic mental health clinic that primarily serves individuals who have come into contact with the law as a result of a sexual offense. HOPE is certified with the California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB) and, as such, utilizes the latest research in providing services to individuals and families to reduce their risk of reoffending and promoting public safety. HOPE's stated mission is to provide effective, confidential treatment in a non-judgment and supportive environment that delivers change and prevents future victimization.
Job Overview
For this role, we are seeking a clinician who is licensed (or is eligible to be licensed) in the state of California. The successful candidate will exhibit specialized knowledge of the full range of psychological services (e.g., evaluation, treatment planning, report writing, etc). Specific evaluation/assessment knowledge in a wide range of assessment-related techniques (e.g., mental status exams, personality testing, risk assessment, etc) is required.
Reports To: You will report to Regional Clinical Director
Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will:
- Conduct full clinical/psychological assessments for all client types, review and update prior assessments, and develop initial treatment plans for new clients
- Apply relevant clinical skills including administering assessment tools, conducting interviews, gathering pertinent clinical information, performing diagnostic interviews, establishing/maintaining rapport with clients, disseminating assessment information according to existing protocols, and communicating with relevant external stakeholders (e.g., Feds, CDCR, SD Probation, CONREP, etc.)
- Utilizing assessment information to provide treatment planning recommendations
- Complete admissions and program documentation responsibilities in a timely manner including administrative work relevant to helping clients enter treatment.
- Establish and maintains effective working relationships with community agencies and stakeholders.
- Participate in agency clinical meetings and internal training.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the clinical setting
- Licensed with the Board of Psychology

Total Compensation PayScale: $70,000.00 - $100,00.00 per year
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, licensure status, position level, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered.
