Responsibilities:
What your days look like as a Foreman:
- Inspect and maintain various equipment’s and tools.
- Assist the site supervisor on various projects.
- Leads by example for the safety and security of all.
- Assist in conducting detailed site inspections.
- Instruct crews on safety precautions and enforce safety regulations.
- Arrange for the delivery of necessary materials, tools and equipment.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Operate various equipment (excavator, loader, skid steer, elevated work platform, scissor lift, zoom-boom).
- Work outdoors in various types of weather and environmental conditions, involving physical work.
To succeed as a Foreman you must have:
- Valid Class 1 Drivers license is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a foreman or supervisory role is an asset.
- Experience operating various equipment.
- Experience in the maintenance and repairs of various equipment.
- English and/or French speaking candidates will be considered.
- Must be able to perform repetitive physical activities.
- Collaborates with others and shares information.
- Solid communication skills.
