Detail on the role! :

The role will be done not only as a junior project manager but also as a consultant, expressing your own experience, knowledge, and ideas to the various teams/projects you will be in contact with, whether that’s internally at dig-x or with our end client.

As the Junior Project Manager, you will help with the responsibility of the day-to-day management of the project(s) and will show your experience in various management instances whilst having the support of the other Project Managers within dig-x to ensure you are receiving all the support for you to strive. You will help lead the project and ensure project delivery is managed within agreed timescales, budget, and quality. We want you to express all your qualities, ensuring the project is led in the right direction, fluently and efficiently whilst having all the support you could hope for with a team of experienced IT professionals in your arsenal.

Some of the key responsibilities involve:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate and support the project team, taking appropriate action where team performance deviates
  • Support the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects
  • Liaise with, and provide support to the business’s other project managers, engineers, and delivery team members, to best meet the project requirement, and other project requirements, in a busy and fluid working environment.
  • Responsible for strategic resource planning to meet work volumes and ensure the team meets project commitments.

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Ability to communicate with teams to deliver projects to the correct time frames
  • Ability to innovate to resolve complex problems
  • Finances – Track work order costs where required. Ensure completed requests are effectively closed out for invoicing. Identify and manage changes to scope and cost.

Desirable Skills that would be helpful for the role

  • Degree level or higher
