Job title: Foreign Sales Assistant
Reports to: Senior Foreign Sales Manager, Southeast Asia & China
Location: London, Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square
Working pattern: Flexible home working up to three days per week
Imprint: Across all Children’s imprints
Department: Co-edition Sales
Salary range: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
General Summary
We are looking for a highly organised, creative, and proactive foreign sales assistant to join our dynamic team, selling rights and co-editions to existing and potential partners in various territories.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Foreign Rights team with the selling of subsidiary rights and co-editions, providing full administrative support to the team
Co-ordinating book fair and trip preparations and follow-up
Administer reprints across the team, attending internal reprint meetings and assisting with the coordination of reprints
Request printing costs and schedules from the Production department
Send out marketing and sales materials to customers
General office administration including database maintenance and running regular Biblio reports
Overseeing monthly invoicing and approving royalty payments in conjunction with accounts
Qualifications and Experience
Highly organised, creative and proactive
Proven track of administrative excellence
Sharp eye for detail
Great communication and numeracy skills
Language skills an advantage
Knowledge of Biblio is preferred but not essential
