Foreign Language Assistant – Spanish
Fixed Term (October 2023 – May 2024)
12 hours a week, Term-Time Only
£1,078.72 per month (in accordance with rates set by British Council)
We are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified Foreign Language Assistant to assist our Modern Languages Department by helping teachers in the classroom, together with supporting our students develop their language skills in Spanish up to GCSE and A Level.
The Modern Languages department is a large, successful department dedicated to high quality teaching and learning, presenting a creative and challenging curriculum which includes at least one compulsory language to GCSE. The school teaches German, French and Spanish to A Level and some classes are shared with Watford Grammar School for Boys.
The successful candidate must be a native speaker of the language required, have excellent English Language skills and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to take part in Department and whole school events.
