Part Time Foreign Exchange Consultant – 16 hours

Reporting to the Travel Shop Manager, the main duties are:

• To operate efficiently and accurately a foreign exchange till
• Count large amounts of money accurately and efficiently
• Calculate and understand exchange rates
• Update Daily Exchange Rates
• Process and reconcile PDQ slips
• To provide outstanding customer service
• To listen to the needs of the customer and promote The Exchanges services
• To build a rapport with customers to maximise repeat business
• To meet and exceed personal and team targets
• Be professional in all business dealings
• To work closely with the team and Airport Travel to process invoices and tickets for their customers.

Key skills required:

• Experience in a customer service role
• Good communications skills
• Experience of working in a disciplined, team environment
• Experience of working with cash and balancing tills
• Self-motivated, good team player

Working hours will be Tuesday: 09:00–15:00, Thursday: 06:00–12:00 and Sunday: 05:30–09:30
