Job description
We are seeking UEFA/FA qualified Football Coaches to manage MatchDay Puma’s Football Club Teams.
Matchday pumas Football club is part of the Wescoutu/Puma performance pathway organisation, that specialises in the recruitment and development of talented young players, via their independent non parent coaching program to enhance player development.The program has access to experienced ex professional football players on its existing staff, and excellent facilities to train on.
As a Matchday Puma's Football Coach, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and implementing training sessions, taking games at the weekend, motivating and inspiring players to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs that improve the skills and fitness of individual players and the team as a whole
- Create game plans and strategies that maximize the team's strengths.
- Lead and motivate players to perform at their best and reach their full potential
- Evaluate player performance during training sessions and games, and provide feedback to help players improve
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with players, parents and opposition.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations, including welfare and safeguarding.
Requirements:
- Good experience as a Football Coach, with a track record of success in developing players
- Excellent knowledge of the FA principles of play and Excellent communication
- Ability to motivate, inspire players and develop players to achieve their full potential
- Work as part of a team
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Good organizational skills
ESSENTIAL
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and AM weekends
- Valid driving licence with Ability to travel to training and games for games
- Min level 2/Uefa C licence coach with at least two years experience of coaching children between 6-12
- Current and valid enhanced DBS, FA Safeguarding children and first aid.
Preferred
UEFA B Qualified coach
£15-£20 per hour
All successful applicants will receive club induction, full Puma kit and all required equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a progressive company delivering football to the local community.

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
