Food To Go Operations Manager
Due to exciting growth, Cathcart Convenience Stores are looking for an experienced, self-driven individual to lead our deli/food departments across multi sites. We are seeking someone who is skilled, passionate, imaginative and organised to oversee the day to day running and help to develop up and coming projects within the business. We have sites in Magherafelt, Toomebridge and Ballymena and require the ideal candidate to be able to travel to these locations freely.
Job Role
- Supporting deli/kitchen managers to ensure smooth daily operating excellence.
- Ensure complete compliance with all food hygiene/environmental health protocols.
- Complying with all Health and Safety requirements by the company and law.
- Oversee staff training on legal requirements and updating any changes.
- Working with the HR Manager to help develop the teams and recognising talent.
- Monitoring and analysing sales reports and reacting accordingly.
- Creative menu planning with managers.
- Stock management across the sites
- Monitoring cost control, continually revising profit margins and how to improve without affecting quality standards.
- Reporting directly to senior management regularly
- Maintaining awareness of environment and competitors, reacting swiftly and help managers forward plan.
- Ensure all sites provide the highest standard of service and care to our customers.
Requirements
Experience in catering/food/retail management, preferably a multi-site role.
Able to demonstrate a positive approach to work and lead by example.
Strong business acumen.
Full UK Driving licence and own transport.
Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Working Pattern – Full time, permanent (Weekend work is essential)
