SCHOOL VACANCY
The Joseph Rowntree School is looking to recruit a highly motivated and practical Technician to provide support to our Food Technology and Textiles (FTT) Department. The successful candidate will need to be well organised and able to multi-task whilst remaining calm under pressure, to ensure a safe and well-equipped environment for our students and staff.
Experience of using and maintaining sewing machines would be an advantage, whilst a current hygiene certificate in catering is desirable but not essential.
Main Purpose of the Job
- Working under the direction of a senior colleague or class teacher, to provide a support service to the FTT Department enabling a safe and well-equipped environment for practical work to support the teaching of the subjects to all students.
