Our YO! Squad are the heart and soul of YO! Each day is different at YO! and brings new challenges which our YO! Squad relish! Our YO! Squad are dynamic, adaptable and fully flexible to work across each & every area of our restaurants.

No one day is the same as the last, as our YO! Squad are more versatile than a potato waffle!

Hosting, cleaning, and working the pass are all in a days work for our YO! Squad who find the all round nature of their roles rewarding and enjoy learning how to work each & every part of YO!

Throughout the day you might find yourself on the restaurant floor playing host, completing takeaway orders or working in our back up areas putting away deliveries, washing pots and keeping everything shipshape!

We are passionate about giving our guests the best YO! experience possible! Wherever your assigned to work in the restaurant on a particular shift you are able to interact with our guests and help out all the other parts of the shift as you can quickly assist in the hot section to get orders out timely, or preparing some sushi for a big Deliveroo order!

Kitchen

  • You will complete both Food Safety Level 2 and YO! Health & Safety Training to be fully aware of all safety protocol in the Kitchen to maintain a safe environment for our Team &

Guests

  • You have a strong knowledge of all our product specs and are committed to ensuring each guest receives the best quality food possible

Team

  • As part of the YO! Squad you’re a real team player who enjoys the camaraderie which being part of the YO! Squad brings! You are collaborative and support the rest of your team in the running of a great YO!
  • You keep yourself well informed of what’s going on and what’s new to YO! by regularly checking YO! 360, attending Team Meetings and interacting with Team Briefs

Guest

  • No matter what station, or area of the restaurant your assigned to on any given day, guest satisfaction is always at the forefront of your mind!
  • Working as a team, our YO! Squad aim to deliver an exceptional guest experience across each & every shift. This is achieved through great authentic service and producing our mouth-watering dishes to spec
  • Any guest interactions are quickly followed up throughout the day. If we ever deviate from delivering our high standards, we make it right to quickly resolve and ensure all guests leave happy and advocates of our brand

Profitability

  • Ultimately we are in business to make money and we do this by running profitable restaurants! As a member of the YO! Squad you are aware of how you can contribute to the success of your restaurant and its profitability
  • You help to drive sales and drive repeat business by flawless execution of delivering a great guest experience which makes our guests want to come back time & time again. There is no better marketing than ‘word of mouth’ and nothing will drive more business than returning guests who then share their great experience with friends & family!
  • Every penny counts at YO! and you are careful in even the smallest details which can affect the profit of the restaurant. Whether that be minimising wastage in the Kitchen, using the correct amount of cleaning products or following the fire up schedule for our equipment to avoid unnecessary usage of utilities.
  • You share innovations with your Management team when you identify potential areas to improve profit and reduce any areas of wastage

Safety

  • As a YO! Squad member you are committed to the safety of our Team & Guests within the restaurant
  • The YO! Trailapp is the ‘holy grail’ within our restaurants for maintaining a safe environment and all aspects of this important document are followed on a daily basis
  • All cleaning tasks are completed and signed off in a timely manner as prescribed in the Trailapp
  • Everyone as YO! is further responsible for the good maintenance of our restaurant and the equipment found within. If you spot any problems you quickly report these to a manger for action

  • Regular YO! Squad Reviews via YO! MOJO (Check in’s, Bi-Annual Reviews and Request a catch up)
  • Guest Feedback scores (via Yumpingo and guest contacts)
  • Sales & Profitability of the restaurant
  • Health & Safety Audits from Shield, YO! and EHO Scores on the Doors

You:

  • A current FOH or BOH Team Leader or Team Member
  • Adaptable, Flexible and committed to learning all the stations of a YO! restaurant
  • Hands on, dynamic and a great team player
  • Committed to guest satisfaction and always looking for opportunities to make that guest experience that extra bit special!
  • Reliable and good time keeping is essential
