HR Administrator/ PA

Located in Shaftesbury
40 Hrs a week
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is looking for someone to join their HR team and control the recruitment aspect, this will involve direct recruitment and working closely with agencies and external recruiters. Alongside this there is an administrative element and working as PA for the MD will be required.

Job Purpose:

The main focus for this role is to ensure that all HR processes are effectively coordinated including ensuring that our client’s employees at all different levels receive the highest service of support and responses required from the HR team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities-

  • Advise in terms of HR Procedures and undertake any necessary investigations.
  • Monitor sickness and absences for all departments.
  • Provide all appropriate paperwork to aid in completing different processes.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and employees.
  • Ensure all relevant HR databases are up to date and information has been recorded correctly.
  • Be the main point of contact for the HR department dealing with both internal and external queries.
  • Control the recruitment for our client, including advertising, collating CV’s, arranging, and holding interviews etc.
  • Set up new starters correctly ensuring they are properly inducted with paperwork completed fully and set up on the company system.
  • Be responsible for helping organise probation reviews, welcome teas, corporate events, Christmas raffles and any other event.
  • Pay attention to detail when preparing any relevant reports.
  • Monitor the company website, internal suggestion boxes and notice boards to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Perform general secretarial duties, book meetings, and arrange catering for conferences.
  • Create a positive environment in which people feel comfortable and promote dignity in the workplace.
  • Always promote food safety culture and ensure the company complies to BRC requirements.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and ensure that management is made aware anytime this has not been followed correctly.
  • Take responsibilities for any workplace waste you create and report any environmental incidents as they occur.
