Bar Supervisor 40 hours per week. 5 out 7 days. £12.50 per hour

Days, Evenings and Weekend work

The Grange Holiday Park located in East Bergholt CO7 6UX,

The Clubhouse is a focal point for our owners and a key facility on our park along with the swimming pool.

We are recruiting for a Bar Supervisor whose duties will include but are not limited to:

• Controlling stock management, ordering, stock replenishment of the bar.
• Assist with serving food & drinks to our owners and holiday guests.
• Keep the bar area clean and tidy and set the standards for the team to follow
• Training team members on the procedures and processes within the Clubhouse e.g tills, measures of wines, spirits etc.
• Work alongside the Park Supervisor to create owners' events, book acts and advertise these within the Clubhouse.
• Work with the Chef and Park Supervisor to create menus, look at food costs, set prices and work with our suppliers.
• Be responsible for Health and Safety, carry out weekly checks as listed by the company Health and Safety Manager and report any faults to the Park Supervisor
• Deal with cash discrepancies and report losses to the Park Supervisor

In order for the candidate to be successful, we are looking for the following experience:

• Hospitality Experience gained from a bar/restaurant background.
• Attention to detail – high cleaning standards, food presentation, promotional display boards
• Customer service experience – being able to handle difficult situations, customer confrontation, confidence to refuse service to customer (too much to drink/unsociable behaviour)
• Cash handling
• Food safety Management
• Stock Management / Ordering

Ideally we require the successful applicant to hold their own Personal Licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.50 per hour

• East Bergholt, CO7 6UX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
