Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and assisting with various food service duties.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Assist with the set-up and preparation of food and beverage stations
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Clear tables and ensure that the dining area is clean and presentable
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting fruits and vegetables, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the food service area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
- A positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
