Job Title: Food Service Assistant
Location: Sizewell
Reports to: Chef Manager
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 7am -2:30
Responsibilities:
Serve food and beverages to customers, following portioning, presentation, and brand standards.
Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services.
Handle payments and maintain financial records.
Restock goods and ensure merchandise displays are appropriate.
Clean back-of-house areas, crockery, cutlery, and public areas.
Report feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, and hazards to the line manager.
Complete assigned daily paperwork/computer work.
Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
Undertake relevant training as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 desirable, training provided).
Barista training may be required for specific roles.
No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in food services or retail environment is desirable.
Good level of spoken English.
