Job Role – The Production operative is responsible for performing multiple tasks throughout the shift which include Set up, operate, monitor, recording performance and troubleshooting on assigned machines. The Production operator will learn how to take responsibility for the machine and its output, inspecting parts and adjusting when needed to maintain quality specifications
What you’ll be doing.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, following a high standard of work and adhering to food safety work practices
- Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during the shift to ensure consistent quality is hit and there are minimal unplanned stops
- Setting up the machines in allocated time frame following SOP
- Performing detailed quality checks, carrying out line adjustments or fixes when required
- Diagnosing and problem-solving problems which arise
- Accurately record data throughout the production to maintain traceability on all products
- Work with the production team members, supporting them when needed to drive continuous production
- Keep a constant flow of communication to Team leaders, identifying any issues which may arise during the operation
- Maintain the highest level of housekeeping and sanitation adhering to BRC AA standards
To be successful in this role you will need.
- Previous Food Production Operator experience
- Ability to follow all process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Manage multiple tasks at any given time
- High attention to detail
- Able to work as team and individually
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
