We are recruiting on behalf of our client who operate in the food manufacturing industry supplying cooked meats to its customers.
We require food production operatives to work packing small items onto trays on a fixed shift basis. The role involves working with food so all food safety awareness must be adhered to and relevant PPE worn in the department (all supplied by the client).
The working pattern is currently Monday to Friday. Working either 5.45am until 2pm or 1.45pm until 10pm. You must be able to work 5 days per week on a set rota.
Main Responsibilities;
- Picking and packing products to ensure that orders are met
- General cleaning and house keeping
- Adhering to Food Safety Standards & Training
- Ensuring high levels of personal hygiene
- Working within strict health & safety guidelines
- PPE must be worn at all times
