Job Description: Driver

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Vehicle collections and drop offs

· Communicating with customer to confirm vehicle collection and drop-offs times.

· Ensure relevant paperwork is completed properly and accurately.

· Collection of parts when required by the parts department.

· Will be required to take pictures of vehicles on collection and delivery.

· Take images of the accident (related and non-related) and ensure vehicle check sheets are completed in a comprehensive manner.

· Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met when collecting and dropping off customer vehicles.

Customer Service

· You will be required to always maintain a good level of professionalism.

· Provide support and good level of customer service both internally and externally.

· Show eagerness learn and develop an understanding of the processes relating to the job.

· Be able to communicate effectively with customers.

General

· You are required to have good timekeeping and maintain the schedules as set out by the company.

· To take care of all vehicles whilst in your possession.

· Ensure that any issues with vehicles are highlighted promptly to the relevant department.

· To make sure all road safety laws are adhered to.

· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Experience Requirements:

Skills & Abilities

· Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

· Ability to perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards safely and successfully.

· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly when liaising with customers and colleagues.

Full-time, Permanent

• Monday to Friday (8.30am-5.30pm)

Experience:

• Delivery driver: 1 year + (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year + (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full Clean Driving License (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25.5 per week

Salary: From £14,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Driving: 2 years (preferred)
