Production Operative (days)– Tiffin Sandwiches Ltd
PLEASE NOTE - THE START DATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE THE WEEK COMMENCING 13TH AUGUST.
Days per week: 5 out of 7.
Rate of Pay: £11ph
18+ ONLY
Starting at 0600 on a Sunday, 0700 Mon 0600 Tue 0700 Weds 0700 Thur 0700 Fri 0700 Sat. Your working day finishes on completion of that days production.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for enthusiastic team players that want to join a thriving business within our daytime production teams. We are on the hunt for people that want to work either full time or part time in a supportive fast paced environment with likeminded people. Our part time shifts are two or three full days per week, our full-time shifts are five full days per week. We want hard working people that are looking for a role where they play a key part in ensuring the business continues to succeed by correctly and accurately creating our freshly made sandwiches for thousands of customers daily. Using state of the art technology and processes our production teams enjoy a busy environment that is both supportive and rewarding.
The role of production operative is located at our head office in Bradford within our vast production centre and is a refrigerated environment. We provide on the job training and support for all employees from your initial induction to new product training as well as offering internal progression and we believe that it’s this reason we have employees still here from the day we began!
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Working on production lines preparing items within our range. i.e. Salads, wraps or sandwiches. From making the sandwiches to sealing and labelling the finished products.
- Follow all food hygiene rules and follow safe systems of work.
- Cleaning; because you are in a food preparation area it is vital you keep your working area as clean as possible. You must make sure you clean your machinery and any workspace before and after any use or change of produce to minimize the risk of cross contamination and bacteria build up.

Essential Skills:
· Basic English – In this role you will be required to work with ingredients and quantities, following recipes and ensuing total compliance with food hygiene regulations which will require a basic understanding of English to be able to meet the role expectations.
Desired Skills:
· Certificate in food hygiene / associated food preparation qualification – although desirable this isn’t essential as all training will be given
Experience in a similarly fast paced / food production environment is desirable but not as essential as a desire to progress.
