Title: Food Production Operative / Food Packer

Our client based in the Saltley area of Birmingham are looking to acquire x20 experienced Food Production Operatives to join their expanding team.
As a Food Production Operative, it is essential you would need to have proven experience working in a same role. **You must hold a valid in date Level 2 Food Hygiene in Manufacturing Qualification (this can be easily obtained through online learning)**
Your duties/skills required as a Food Production Operative are:
- You'll work as part of a close-knit team and play a major part in making and packing some of the nation's much loved products
- Have has a passion for quality and follows all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and our customers are satisfied.
- Skills Comfortable with handling, preparing and baking of food, long periods of standing, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
- Can be working in varied working environment from Freezer, Chill, Ambient, Tray Wash and Hygiene. Flexible work approach is ideal but choice of working area is available.
Please note: No evidence of respiratory problems (as working in a bakery environment has exposure to flour and dust and would not suit individuals with respiratory problems).
Working hours are:
- Choice of shifts from Monday - Sunday on a shift basis from 06:00 - 14:00, 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, 11:00 - 19:00, 12:00 - 20:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 16:00 - 00:00.
- Flexibility is ideal working on this contract to ensure regular weekly shifts.
Pay Rate:
- Pre 12 weeks: £10.42ph
- Post 12 weeks: AMs £10.83ph, PMs £12.18ph and Nights £13.54ph
- O/T paid at £16.25ph - £27.08ph depending on the shift
For the right person as an experienced Food Production Operative this will be an immediate start and offers long-term ongoing subject to performance and good timekeeping with the potential to receive a permanent contract.
