Health Food Production Operative
We are looking for a well presented and self motivated individual to join our small team of enthusiastic and friendly food production staff.
At Purition, we manufacture various health food products including nut based protein powders, frappes, lattes and much more. Our mission is to make healthy eating as simple as possible through highly nutritious and innovative ideas. Based at our Shrewsbury factory in Battlefield, our team oversees the entire production process from intake of raw materials, the manufacturing of food, through to dispatch of finished goods.

This is a hands-on role that can be physically demanding. Previous experience in a food production environment is not essential as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, pro-active and inquisitive self-starter with good communication and organisational skills.
In this role the key responsibilities will include:
- Accuracy; Either when picking and packing a high volume of orders or when bagging on the production line
- Supply and input accurate data to the in-house stock control system in a timely manner to enable full traceability
- Achieve and endeavour to exceed daily KPI targets
- Work with Key Operators to carry out start up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout production
- Monitor product quality, highlighting non conformance and taking appropriate corrective action
- Operate equipment and light machinery, carrying out routine basic maintenance
- Maintaining standards and looking to constantly improve

Firmly and relevantly positioned within both healthy living and natural foods marketplaces, we fly the flag for a truly natural product, retailing both online and offline direct to consumer and via selected trade channels.
The package
This is a 5 day per week role based in Shrewsbury, with typical working hours of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. As a member of Team Purition you will benefit from an annual holiday allowance of 25 days plus Bank Holidays, free on-site parking and Purition product for personal use. The salary band for this role is between £20,000 and £22,500 per annum
