Drivers Foods (Leicester) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Line Operative to join our dynamic team. As a Production Line Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food production line, contributing to the creation of high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Production Machinery: Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established guidelines, ensuring products are produced accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of products at various stages of production, identifying and addressing any defects or discrepancies.
- Assembly and Packaging: Perform tasks related to product assembly, packaging, and labelling, following precise instructions to maintain consistency and product integrity.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to safety protocols, and actively participate in maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Documentation: Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any relevant observations, contributing to accurate reporting and analysis.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow team members, including supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel, to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and report any operational issues, malfunctions, or discrepancies to supervisors, assisting in troubleshooting and finding solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the capability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a production setting.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday; 8AM - 4:30PM, Friday; 7:45AM - 3:00PM
Full time contract, 38.5 Hours p/w.

Salary: £10.50 per hour
