Production Operative – 4 on 4 off Rotating Shift – Barton
- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, 06:00am - 18:00pm/ 18:00pm - 06:00am (2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off)
- £11.93 per hour (from 2nd April 2023)

This particular role is at our Bakkavor Bread site based in Barton-upon-Humber, close to the Humber Bridge. This factory specialises in making chilled speciality baguettes at high volume and employs over 160 people. The site is located 14 miles from Hull, 16 miles from Scunthorpe and 24 miles from Grimsby.
The Role
The typical day of a Production Operative involves working in a small team to all achieve a common goal working closely with the Key Operative and Quality Control to achieve the best we can and supply the customer with what the standard of product they require. We manufacture lots of different products within the business; we make over 30 products in any one 12-hour shift so there is lots of variety.
Tasks can vary within the business such as in feeding and topping a product, feeding the product through a flow wrapper, and disposing of waste all using a clean as you go process.

You will be provided will appropriate PPE and full training to complete your role.
