Production Manager - Harlow
Riverway Foods, now part of CPC Group, produces high-quality sausages, with all our pork sourced from British high welfare farms. We supply some of the country’s leading retailers, including Aldi, Lidl and Tesco, and are recognised in the market for our attention to detail. We have created an opportunity for a professional who shares our values to join us as a Production Manager.
We require a solutions-focused Production Manager to effectively manage and develop a team of about 80 colleagues so that we achieve our KPIs (key performance indicators). You will need to have experience in developing teams and ensuring performance improvements to get the best out of the team and to move the business forward. You will also be customer focused to ensure we continue to produce the best quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing, coaching and engaging teams, as well as developing team members in all areas
Promoting a great health and safety and food safety culture
Managing the order fulfilment supervisory team, delivering the plan and KPIs
Managing the order fulfilment to budget
Lead continuous improvement
Monitor and oversee all production control documents, ensuring relevant paper work is completed accurately
Complete regular shift review meetings to communicate achievements and push/develop targets
Working with and alongside key departments, e.g. engineering and hygiene, to develop a key working relationship
Knowledge, Skills Experience include:
Experience in food production management. HACCP, Food Safety and Hygiene.
You must be self-motivated to achieve and CI focused
Managing large shift sizes, including managing attendance, performance, and have the ability to coach your team
Be used to a fast-paced chilled food environment
Have a can-do attitude
Numbers orientated
Ability to make objective decisions, taking all factors in to account and delegating when needed
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
