This new full time post is available immediately on a 1 year fixed term basis.


Summary of the role

Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and production? Join the University of Exeter's Grounds Team as a Food Production Grower.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Grounds Team as they embark on a project, initially for a year, to plan, grow and produce vegetables to be used by the University’s kitchens and outlets.


The successful applicant will be the main person delivering this project; taking currently uncultivated areas and turning them in productive soils. The project also involves hydroponic growing using NFT and reservoir fed pots, under glass, protected and unprotected cropping.


This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the beginning of this exciting project, with a direct input into its development, direction and experimental growing.
