Job description
Food Production Assistant vacancy in small, busy Food Standards Agency approved on-farm Organic butchery. Small family business. The job will include assistance with meat product preparation, packaging and assistance with organising orders. The successful candidate will be organised, have good attention to detail, be a good communicator, a good time-keeper, accept instruction, work to deadlines and be a good team-player.
Numeracy, literacy and previous work in a food environment essential. Own transport essential. Up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene certificate an advantage. Should the successful candidate not have an upto-date certificate, they will be asked to complete a short online course and test at the start of the job (paid for by the employer).
