Food Production Assistant
Job description
HR GO Recruitment are working with a Food Production company in Barking, Essex. As a Food Production Assistant you will be working in a temperature controlled kitchen environment and standing for long periods of time. Duties: Peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables by hand. Weighing and packing the produce. Cleaning and washing up. Due to the nature of this business and the necessary Food Hygiene requirements, candidates are not permitted to wear any jewellery including facial piercings, false nails and eyelashes are also not allowed. Appropriate PPE will be provided including hairnet, overalls, latex gloves and boots. Hours: Day shift 40+ hours per week. The shifts can be 7 hours, 8 hours, 9 hours, 10 hours, 11 hours or even 12 hours per day. The company is open Monday to Friday. Closed on Saturdays. Open on Sundays. Candidates must be able to work 5 days per week including every Sunday with a day off during the week OR 6 days per week, Monday to Friday and Sunday. Pay: £10.50 per hour.
