Job description
Brue Valley Farms is recruiting a Food Production Assistant for its food manufacturing site producing butter and mozzarella for large retailers as well as small independents. This is a unique opportunity to work within a family business on a working farm near Glastonbury.
We are looking for someone flexible to join our food production team working in both butter and mozzarella as well as assisting in general warehouse duties. Working in a busy food manufacturing unit, duties are varied and will range from machine operation, hand packing, cleaning and some physical tasks. Good record keeping and high standards of hygiene are essential.
25-42.5 per week. Core working hours 7.30am – 4.30pm. Monday – Friday
Skills and experience
- Food Manufacturing experience an advantage
- Ability to work in a physical role is essential
- Forklift licence an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-42.5 per week
Pay: From £10.42 per hour
