Country Fare are looking for a new team member to join our Production Team. Working using machinery and hand cutting produce to customer specifications. It is important that the candidate has confident knife skills and has experience working hands-on with fresh produce within a kitchen or manufacturing environment.
The candidate should demonstrate the following-
- Ability to work effectively within a team but also be self-motivated
- Punctual with their attendance and timekeeping
- Work in a safe and clean manner, ensuring that their personal hygiene and working practices are of a very highest standard
- Be passionate about food

Job Overview:
40 Hours (4 Shifts: 3pm-1am)
4 shifts (Saturday evening is a fixed day off with 2 other days according to rota)
Holiday cover required with an extra 5th shift on certain weeks
The 5th shift will also be required to meet certain business levels throughout the year
Job Role:
- Assist with preparing Fruit and vegetables to customers specification, using hand-cut methods
- Process fruit and vegetables to customers specifications using machinery
- Packaging and labelling produce ready for items to be dispatched to customers
- Ensure that health and safety in the area is maintained to the highest standards
- Clean and maintain machinery using guidance and training to ensure a safe working environment
- Packaging and quality checking of raw ingredients, into standard sizes for picking
- Work alongside an effective team to produce high-quality products using product specifications
