Food Packing Operative

We are looking for a food dispatch and packing operative based in the Monk Bretton area of Barnsley. We are on the lookout for someone to grow our friendly and expanding team.

Hours / Pay Rate:

• Monday to Friday, 12pm to 9pm (weekends off)
• Pay is £11.00 per hour

The role involves:

• Quality checking all products before despatch
• Packing of sandwich fillings on a production line
• Labelling and sealing of product packaging.
• Working in a chilled environment (8C+)
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene polices are being followed at all times
• Cleaning down the work area

Skills Required:

• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience working within a food environment would be essential.
• Ability to work in a fast paced work place
• You must be reliable and have good timekeeping
• Candidates must be physically fit and able to work to deadlines
• Excellent eye for detail and quality
