Reports to:
Team Leader / Production Junior Manager / Production Manager
Role Purpose: To produce product (and where appropriate, package) to the agreed specification sheet and at a satisfactory quality. To maintain a “Good Manufacturing Practice” throughout the department at all times
Key Accountabilities
· To ensure the machines are running to agreed standards of speed/cleanliness/quality and highlight to Team Leader/ Management (as appropriate) if this is not possible.
· Comply with all requirements; accurately recording start/stop times and quantities in a timely manner.
· To be present and ready to begin production at the start of each shift.
· Comply with paperwork requirements for the area; this includes (but is not limited to: Production paperwork, Training Records, Check sheets.
· To provide suitable notice to the runner when requiring new or additional components) in order to avoid “waiting” time
· To be aware of and comply with the safety requirements of the area. This includes (but is not limited to) the wearing of correct PPE, adherence to the Fire Procedure, knowledge of the Emergency Stops/Guarding on the machines, understanding of the depts “COSHH” where appropriate.
· To contribute fully to any improvements/changes/projects that are being considered/implemented.

Qualifications & experience
- A comprehensive understanding of food manufacturing
- Proven experience in interacting and influencing at a senior level
