Vale Royal Fresh Foods Ltd is a small family business that grows, process, package and delivers beansprouts in the UK. We are looking for anyone why may want to learn and develop growing skills along with food safety skills and processes. Scope to become skilled operatives and opportunities for salary increases.
As a growing operative, you will be involved in all aspects of the growing procedures and process. This is a vital role within the business and requires attention to detail, precision and hard work. The main role will be the washing of Growing Containers.
PART TIME HOURS - SUNDAY 07:00 - 16:00, TUESDAY 06:00 - 15:00, THURSDAY 06:00 - 15:00
FULL TIME HOURS - SUNDAY 07:00 - 16:00 , MONDAY - THURSDAY 06:00 - 15:00
STARTING £11.00
A few of the responsibilities are listed below:
- To adhere to all procedures set out in the company’s quality manual and BRC standard.
- Day to day tasks for growing
- Operation of growing equipment
- Testing and room checks
- Report near misses and hazard observations
- To report any food safety issues
- To report any faults or deficiencies in working equipment
- Ensure the maintenance of company issued clothing
- To complete tasks / records accurately
- To undertake and satisfactorily complete training as reasonably requested by the company.
- To ensure that at all times work is undertaken to the highest standard of hygiene and health and safety.
- To take samples for micro testing
- All Quality and food safety paperwork completed
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
