About the role:
The University Hospitality Department provides catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during the summer months. These roles span a variety of our on-campus outlets. You will be required to ensure that the day to day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking customer orders
- Serving food and drink
- Working on the tills
- Stocking food stations
- Assisting with cleaning tables and catering areas
These roles include early morning, evening and weekend working either full time (36.5 hours per week) or part time (25 hours). The weekly shift pattern consists of straight shifts only, no split shifts!

About you:
Our ideal candidate(s) will be:
- A good team worker
- Experienced in providing an excellent standard of customer service in a customer focussed environment
- Calm and professional in high pressure situations as it can be extremely busy during peak times
Experience within the Hospitality industry would be a bonus, but is not essential.
