The main focus of a Food and Beverage team member is to greet customers and check they are enjoying their experience, as well as manage customer complaints. Whether it’s a quick breakfast or a full evening meal, our staff will go above and beyond for our diners, ensuring guests always look forward to a return visit.
As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be involved in duties such as:
- Participate in the organisation of department for service
- Clean restaurant (furniture & floor)
- Prepare the table settings
- Prepare the back of house
- Prepare the meeting room & coffee break
- Welcome the guest. Take the food and drink order. Service of the food and drink. Ensure guest satisfaction. Clean the table away
- Participate in the after-service cleaning. Clean the guest crockery, clean the washing & restaurant area, clean the bar area, clean crockery for guest usage
Knowledge and Skills required:
Training
- Prior hospitality training
Experience
- Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the hospitality industry
Expertise
(job-knowledge, technical skills)
- Basic food hygiene HACCP
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Knowledge of service practices
- Ability to understand & follow guidelines
- Conversational English
