Job description
We’re on the hunt for cool, enthusiastic, approachable individuals to join our amazing Food and Beverage team here at the 4* Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre. With a series of contracts available, 40hrs, 24hrs, 16hrs and casual, we have the flexibility which suits all needs.
We're looking for you to provide our guests with a high standard of service across our breakfast, Lunch and Early Afternoon serving periods...that may be the Open Lobby restaurant or our amazing new dual level terrace ROBY 1844...or delivering fantastic Afternoon Teas. You will be personable and engaging with our guests in a style that is relaxed, upbeat and full of smiles. We are looking for team members who can commit themselves to varying shifts across the whole week, including weekends. With the ability to work as a team and in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing as a Food Beverage Assistant:
- Ensuring that all guests experience an outstanding level of service throughout their stay.
- Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
- Ensure that you follow all service standards ensuring that our offering always looks amazing.
- Engage, build, and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately!
- Being attentive to all guests and looking for opportunities to up-sell and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Responding promptly to guest complaints and finding ways to turnaround any negative feedback
- Keeping up to date with hotel facilities, promotions, and the local market area, to be able to effectively assist guests.
- Looking for ways to deliver continuous improvements to the guest experience. What’ll make you a great fit for this Food Beverage Assistant role.
- It doesn’t matter where you’ve gained your experience, if you have incredible customer service abilities and confidence to anticipate and deliver on guests needs.
