About the role

We are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our small successful customer friendly team at The Forest Bar & Kitchen at Kielder Waterside. We are fortunate to work at a site with spectacular scenery where we work together to look after our customers. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service to all customers, enhancing our customers experience whilst continually working to improve our business. Hours of work will vary during the week, covering weekends, and bank holidays.

This is an extremely exciting role working in our front of house team in our restaurant and bar at Kielder Waterside and Cafe at Tower Knowe. You will help us maximise revenue, grow profitability through providing a first-class experience for our guests. In addition, you will help give a great service for our Weddings food and beverage offer, it’s a fast-paced environment and we want to work with people who thrive on that. Fun, outgoing individuals with a real passion for food and drink. Experience as a waitress/waiter is a must have.

We can provide you with Live-In accommodation, which is an en-suite room, with a communal kitchen, with washing machine and tumble dryer. You can also benefit from our staff discount on food in the on-site restaurant and the on-site gym and spa complex too.

About you

You’ll have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as dealing with customer is a large part of this role.

You’ll have the ability to work flexibly as this role will include a variety of different tasks and working hours including weekends, late nights and bank holidays.

You’ll be motivated to develop and drive our events and hospitality business forward and have previous experience working as waitress/waiter.
