Job description
A temporary position has become available for a new server at the Black Milk x Baileys stand at The Eurovision Song Contest Fan Zone.
This position will be supporting the Events Manager and supervisors in the day to day running of our pop up at the event of this summer.
Duties include:
*Day to day food services operations (opening/closing the stand).
*Staff training
*Quality control of all menu items
*Ensuring high standards of food hygiene & food preparation are met.
*Completing weekly and daily cleaning to the highest standard
We specialise in luxury gelato and bakes. Previous Ice Cream/Gelato experience would be ideal but nonessential
A strong understanding of customer service & knowledge of how to assist in the running of a busy cafe is a must for this role, we will train you on the rest.
All training in relation to our menu, cooking & baking methods & specifications will be given but a good knowledge of the food industry is required for applicants.
Any qualifications in relation to food hygiene, personal license or first aid would be advantageous.
We are open until 10pm with a close down period on a Saturday so you must be able to work fairly late shifts and be confident to close the venue without the event manager at times.
We aim for the right candidate to start with us in the next few days.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 11 days
Salary: £10.50-£10.75 per hour
