The Food Beverage management team orchestrates the magic of the guest dining experience, leading a team of passionate individuals. Our goal is to create an ambiance where locals and visitors feel at home and we always have something up our sleeve to impress. We are looking to build a loyal client base for years to come, impressing guests with our great food, drink, music and stellar service!
This position is made for someone who is passionate about the guest experience, a hands-on operator, who ensures all aspects of service run smoothly whilst also creating maintaining a fantastic working environment for our teammates.
Managers of their departments are committed to being present during service; directly impacting the guest and staff experience.
The Nitty-Gritty:
What exactly you will be doing…
This is not an office job! How can you know what is happening with our guests if you are not present. Reporting to the Director of Food Beverage, you will provide operational support to all Food Beverage teams across the different outlets during service and ensure that the standards are met on a daily basis. You will cover holidays of the outlet General Managers as well as supporting the Meeting and Events team, where with the help of the Assistant Managers you will be running the show.
Here’s what you need in your tool kit:
Qualifications Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality essential, preferably within hotels but not essential
- Experience of all areas of Food Beverage, including Meetings Events
- Experience of team management at Head of Department level
- Experience managing multiple outlets preferred
- Strong knowledge of bar management preferred
- Good working knowledge of Meetings Events preferred
- A strong commercial understanding, numerate comfortable analysing financial data including cost management, budgets payroll
- Experience of all aspects of People Management, including recruitment, performance management and training
- Good IT skills
